In Pain!

Apparently I am not as young as I use to be. This weekend my boyfriend and his kids were here and sunday after church and lunch we went out to my parents and jumped on the trampoline.
First mistake jumping with the kids, second mistake jumping out of the tree fort like did when was in highschool. (Bear in mind its been almost 11 years ago since I was in highschool)
When I jumped out of the fort I felt my back jar. but as a kid my body was so resilient and it didn't hurt later. Appartently at 29 years old, not so much. So for the last couple days have been at home in bed in so much pain. no bueno! I need to get back to moveable by friday since have a class to teach @ the gym. gurrr getting old fun.
Going to get another ice pack and watch another movie.
Pray for me!

Humble

Today realized that my plans when was younger are exactly NOT what am today. but I now understand that God has different plans for me and continues to challenge me daily.?
For those of you who know me, know I cannot be more adamant about looking forward to being a wife and mother. Idealisticly I would have loved to have started a family already and be married to an amazing man of my dreams. But alas it is not where I am at this point in my life journey.?
I am dating this amazing man and father to two beautiful children who? I enjoy spending time with? I am trying to continually trying to seek Gods will and listen to what He has to say about our relationship. But some days I am human. We disagree and I automatically want to throw in the towel and not try. But I have recognized why I do this. Its from a prior relationship that I was hurt from and scared to get hurt again. But who wouldn't be. Also becoming a potential step mom or role model is hard to even think about too. I want my OWN family... but why is it so hard for me to wrap my head around Step mom doesn't mean they are not apart of my family, they are just a different and very special component to it.?
I think I'm just worried about the whole evil step mom or being blamed for anything the kids would do bad once I was married to their dad. but that all said. I do enjoy them immensely and look forward to spending time with them, I have so much fun with them. They are great kids and maybe just maybe God gave me the desire to be a mom regardless of how it happens.
I guess only time will tell. For now I am going to continue to seek Gods plan and enjoy every moment.

Letting Go and Letting God.

I have finally decided that being out of control of my life is OK. Because my Father, the King of Kings,
IS in control! I am allowing it to be a precious beautiful moment everyday and to consciously listen to
Him and let Him lead. I have tried every other avenue in my life and it never ends up anything but messy.
I have had my fair share of "Mistakes" in my life and have to say they are what make me who I am today.
Not that I would wish any of it on anyone.

"Don't be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today.
The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm." Exodus 14:13-14

Pause and think about it. Let Him RESCUE YOU today! Why do we always look to ourselves or others to rescue us? Why not let our Heavenly Father do it? Whats so hard about that? I know for me its there is not always immediate answers when you allow Him to rescue you, but that is where the beauty is. Letting go and letting God. He is longing for you to reach out and fall, fall into His amazing arms of Grace and let him take your life over. He knows what is going to happen anyways he made the plans and gets a chuckle out of our constant tries to erase and rewrite his story for us.

...its my party and ill cry if I want to...

ok so tues the 5th was officially my 29th birthday and it was great considering the text messages started the night before while watching fireworks at my house. One of my good guy friends in LA does a count down every year for my birthday. Wish he lived closer, but alas he does not. And for some reason this year everyone was online or awake at midnight, because the text were so crazy
I had to put my phone on silent to go to sleep.

The day of I went to lunch with a good girlfriend and then to coffee at Gloria Jeans in the mall, and had an appointment with Tori @ Benefit. After that I went over to my friend Biancas' house to hangout until I needed to go home and get ready.

We started at Camp 4 downtown and had a wonderful time enjoying wine, cheese and my birthday chocolate panini. Then went to Donobys for a couple more beers and some darts.

With a very eventful birthday, and next day, Thank you to everyone that came out and wishes were met.

10 years already???

So it was my 10 year reunion. Can not believe its been 10 years! Wasn't going to go to the reunion but got talked into going to the bar that they went to which is about the only thing that is open after 5 in the town that i grew up in. well it was definitely interesting, i enjoyed walking in and no one really recognizing me. for a minute until someone I didn't recognize high fived me and I had to ask a friend who it was after he left. Oh well I think I can wait another 10 years.
