blueberry fields forever.

6/16
Today I went on a play date with some of my girlfriends and their kids. We went to Jessops Farm where they have pick your own blueberries. It was a wonderful time of eating half of what you pick and chasing down 8 kids around making sure they stayed close to an adult. Love my girls and their kids. Thanks for allowing me to pacify my need for kids for the day. Loved ever min.

BE-U-tiful Weekend

So my weekend has been full of spending time in the sun,
 hanging out with family,
and spending time working on ME.

Went to the Concert in the Park with my girlfriends and their kids.
Watched HERAFTER with the parentals,
Ran hills with my BEStIE Elizabeth (OK, walked fast),
then walked another 4 miles.

Realized I am enjoying painting my nails.

*my new favorite brand.
walgreens $1.99!

I also have been getting to that point
that I am really starting to realize how much I want to
find "that guy" and settle down and start a family.

I always have but its been weighing on me even more lately.
I wanna fall in love <3

Hope you all have a BE-U-tiful Weekend!

Crazy Day in the Bay

...so Monday my gurls and I, headed out to the bay,
rode BART into Powell and decided that we were going to enjoy the city despite the weather.
We started @ Forever 21 where I am a self proclaimed accessory whore.
My motto is that if none of the clothes fit the accessories always do.
So needless to say i came home with quite a few pieces.

We ended up walking up to Urban Outfitters.

Cheesecake Factory is almost a necessity if you spend the day in the bay.
We met the nicest couple from England that were on their honeymoon. They were saying how nice people in California were. I guess also portions are not as big there either and stuff is cheaper here too. She was kind of bummed about the crummy weather we were having but was excited to go shopping. They were so cute.

We of course then decided to hit  up H&M
a funky store that is where FCUK(french connection uk) use to be,
and then my fav Anthropologie.
At that time I think we are all tired and ready to head home,
or to Dublin at least.

Got to TJ Maxx just as they were closing
and decided maybe we needed to head home too.
Gas station stop and mandatory rebulls got us home.
I had a great time and look forward to our next girls day.

SO Excited!

OK, so I am starting this blog a month before my 29th birthday, so its a little over a year before my 30th but better to start while I'm motivated.  A lot has changed in the last couple months to bring me here but thought it would be nice to document this year, maybe even longer we will see. So like I said a lot has changed in the last year. I was working for a furniture store for the last 3 years and was surprisingly laid off a couple months ago. God has a bigger plan, trying to learn to listen and trust Him, which is easier said than done. Right after the lay off I got certified to teach Zumba. The certification was planned as additional income, to teach on the side. It now had become my source of income. Definitely not paying the mortgage and all the other bills but  I have been blessed to have other opportunities to supplement this income. Still looking for a great job with benefits but alas nothing yet.
Zumba has been a great outlet and I am meeting great people everyday! I have an amazing network of instructors that are local and we love taking each others classes. Support!
I also have a degree in interior design and so you will see design related blogs throughout. I bought my first house 2 years ago next month and I am having a blast making it my own. I love finding pieces of furniture that have a story and look accumulated over time, my friends say my house feels like I have lived here a lot longer than 2 years. I enjoy adding character pieces and changing things around. My new favorite piece is my record player that really has no home but it is in my living room nevertheless.
Looking forward to this journey and taking you with me, hope you come along for the ride.
